    Speedtest.net shows this! it is same as 12Mb down provider promised

    My provider promised 12 MB down and 1 mb up! and speedtest.net shows this. how far apart are we?

                          Well here is a hint for you. Throw away your wifi router, and buy yourself a new one.

                                              try showing the chopped-off right part of your speedtest results, showing how far away you are from the test server....

                                              I could probably get those speeds if I tested using a server in Bora Bora

                                                              What pc have you got? By chance, if you have a "g" rather than an "N" they wouldnt connect aswell, & vice versa.

                                                              Also, your host could have slowed you down for downloading too much?


                                                              My "N" router gives me a 1.5mb upload at the top of my garden, we need it for livecamshows.
