    YARGH! I am going to kill Neil Peart on June 16th



    Just kidding I am taking the whole gang to see Rush in Tampa. It will be the first concert for both of my daughters (age 4 and 6)

                                          I saw them on the Power Windows tour, when they were pretty undisputedly my favorite band on the planet, and I kinda think they are a better band on really good headphones at 3am than they are a concert show. Probably still an amazing killer first concert for kids though.

                                                  good stuff I remember back in 82 or something trying to learn the solo for "Tom Sawyer", I was like 1 month playing that tune until I finally did it, at that time Alex Lifeson was my hero, lol. However, I was a big fan of 2112 and Fly by Night, By-Thor's drum solo gave me an orgsam every fucking time I listened to it

The band won't get over that one lone incident and they hold an entire city in contempt for it, and have done so for over 2 decades.
