it's just making extra noise... trust me!
I have cooler master hyper6+ and it's making quite a noise...

I have bought it couple of years ago so I could OC my processor from 3.2GHz to 4GHz
but noise level at 4GHz is pretty high then, and performance gain is not worth it...

So better spend more cash on better CPU, faster memory, better mainboard than on this.
Use CPU on default values and you'll be happy with it...
And focus more on what and are doing with your CPU than how and what is your CPU doing, at what voltage, clock speed... etc...
