lol "noobish", i build my own pc's, and have managed my own centos dedicated servers for the last 10 years, so no i'm not a noob. but i can see why you might have thought that.

when i decided to upgrade my cooling, i looked at benchmarks and the one i posted looked good. but the only pics i could find of it were without a fan hence my question. i've always only ever OC'd by 10% before so have never needed anything more than a stock cooler.

i've bought the h50 water cooled one that someone sugested now anyway.
