There are specific rules on this board, but it doesn't look like the mods are enforcing them. Front page is cluttered with endless contest threads, bots and surfers with a dozen fake nicks running amok, constant spam from morons... it prohibits me from enjoying this board.

An internet forum that is not a democracy. TD is doing a job, he's not some elected official for the people who's job depends on their popularity. If the people at Adult.com/Playboy are happy with how TD is doing things then that's really all that matters, because at the end of the day, they sign his paychecks, pay the bills that keep this place going, do the big business and it's all about the dollar. Here is the thing, I am sure TD is overworked as far as GFY goes, keeping the servers up and running smooth must be a nightmare in itself.
And trying to keep up with every sig and etc would be fucking impossible, I won't disagree there.
But, the fact of the matter is that contest threads are out of control, there are rules set to them that he can with ease enforce. Contest threads last 10 days. There are quite a few that are running way past this amount of time, this can with ease be found and enforced. Look at a thread, the date it was set and done. Contest threads should be locked when day 11 hits, plain and simple. And bots in contest threads should not be enforced if the person running the thread asks, bots should be booted as soon as they are spotted.
