Are you seriously comparing what has happened with ePass to a traditional high risk environment? That is simply not the case. When you signed up for an ePass account, was there a place that said "please expect your money to be frozen with no real explanation and to be non-accessible for weeks at a time with zero advance notice"? Do you consider banks to be high risk environments? Because for all intents and purposes, ePass has been operating as a bank for years, just like Paypal. Can you imagine Paypal pulling this shit?
You cannot say that people should have been expecting this crap and that they should just be cool with it - that is not at all true.
