    Amex and Alertpay

    Accepting Amex takes ages to verify the payment. Just fresh experience.

      Is your account fully verified? And this was someone paying you via Amex? Curious as we just added it as an option.

              Amex can't be used on anything adult or dating.

              Alertpay still cannot be used for adult they told me yesterday by email although they are accepting applications.

              Actual words used:

              "We do allow Adult websites for both product and service. However, at this time, we have placed all Adult applications on hold as we finalize internal business agreements with our banking partners to allow more Adult content."

                      Takes a long time, you say. I think that I don't care if someone pays me today or a year from now, it's just that interest has to be added. Of course, the cash flows have to be there for the business to be operational. What I mean is that inflation is 3% a year. That means receiving $10,000 today is the same as receiving $10,300 a year from now. I have a lot of people labeled "bad debts" that I am still waiting to collect from.

                          Alertpay WERE Adult friendly until late 2008, then they abruptly pulled out with no notice and people were saying they were back adult friendly again but it seems that they are still not quite there yet.

                          The service works ok, but really it's a paypal clone that is actually more expensive than paypal rather than anything specifically useful for anything else.

                                  Currently they do not allow adult subscriptions, but they are allowing you to use the account to pay adult affiliates.
