                                                    mainstream is the way togo.. these idiots in this business are foolish and scammers and 0 loyalty and are out only for themselves. besides, if you know how to work it, alot more money to be made in mainstream, no stigma sttached to it and a much much more stable environment.

                                                                    Mainstream is the way to do and any successful porn webmaster should definitely keep doors open, should the business go down the shitter at some point. I did the switch 2 years ago, now I am doing exclusive deals with Vuitton. Can't complain how well it's going.

                                                                                                        Since some people are getting movtivation from this thread I will add a little of my own advice.

                                                                                                        I started off with membership sites than dumped them mainly after having so many problems with 3rd party billers going out of business and having to start over and over from 0 members. Even then I didn't put too much focus on my membership sites because I made a lot more from being an affiliate, and spent a lot less time on the bullshit that comes along with membership sites.

                                                                                                        The error I made was as an affiliate I was making a lot of money but I wasn't building value in anything. I generated traffic, sent it to the affiliate company and got paid. done deal. At the end of the year I made lots of money but if i had nothing I could sell, nothing of value.

                                                                                                        I figured out a little over a year ago that I need to work on projects that build value while generating traffic and making money. This is what Trey did, he did smart. He made lots of money off of epiccash and built value in a company.

                                                                                                        I've invested in offline stuff, done similar deals as Trey. But my biggest mistake, and best piece of advice I could offer someone is to learn how to generate traffic while building value in something. Last year I grossed over 1 million just from clickcash but I own nothing really, and have nothing of value I could sell if I walked away. For 2007 that will be a lot different I finaly wised up.
