    Whatever happened to FTV Rob?

    I was just browsing the Show us what you drive thread and noticed a few mention FTV Rob, who of course was every webmaster with a passion for cars - guru - especially as he was due delivery of a Bugatti Veyron a couple of years back.

    However, as many may have seen on GFY, he did (not so wisely) post a video of himself driving in excess of 200mph on a US highway, which led to much press interest and no doubt police interest.

    Anyone know what happened to Rob?

              what happened to him with regards to the the 219mph thing? nothing, he was never charged.

              I still see FTVGirls being updated so he's still shooting and all that - he does everything himself except the affiliate stuff, no CMS even, all manual.
              I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

                      The guy has deep pockets and I am sure his attorney handled any hassles.

                                  Anyone got any facts though. You can't assume someone with deep pockets gets away with the law. George Michael the world famous singer went to prison this week for breaking laws and I would say his pockets are a little deeper then robs. With all due respect of course. Just haven't seen him on the boards since that incident ?

                                      My pockets aren't nearly as deep as Rob's and I have a long list of speeding violations in the 100mph to 150mph range. I've never so much as come close to loosing my license, no less even faced jail time. My last ticket was the worst - "exceeding 100 mph" - came with an $800 fine and two points on my California driver's license.
