Someone could have had just a 20% drop over the last couple years and be making millions less a year.
It's harder to make money these days. If you are new and you are able to make money you are at an advantage vs someone who has been around a long time but has gotten fat and lazy and their revenue methods are dwindling fast. You figured out how to make money in today's environment, their ways are outdated and don't work. All they know how to do is spend, not make. You just want to make sure you don't ever become the fat calf.

You're absolutely right Will: with no context my saying my income "quadrupled" doesn't mean anything. Let me put it another way:
$xx - mid $xxx,xxx in 1.9 years.
So what I meant was: when I launched my network i had Xx dollars coming in from being an aff and having a couple scattered paysites (including my own). From there I just kept building and building and building....
Another context: I run an entire network of sites; if I had 1 or 2 sites and were trying to make what I make network-wide with only that 1 site I would be in a differant boat, and have a differant biz model. I guess what I'm saying is: anyone MAD/LOONY enough to want to own/run dozens of sites WILL still make money, they just have to keep building and building and building....
