The idea is right, but the approach is wrong.
It would be too much work and take too much time to ask people to prove industry cred'. Banning some people would just send them to other sites which wouldn't be good for GFY nor program owners or advertisers because they want views and clicks.
I suggest a different idea.
For the most part, the adult industry has shown Visa and the feds that we can self regulate, are professional and take important issues seriously. Why don't we do the same on GFY?
I come to GFY to relax or to take a break (I'm eating lunch right now). I'm always looking for new business, but I enjoy the jokes and drama once in a while. There seems to be more "useless" threads lately but sometimes good things come from them.
My answer to this thread then would be "its not broke, don't fix it". However if we want to take better information and ideas from GFY, we should learn to improve the uality of our posts. By all means lets continue to have fun, but don't forget the business opportunity that GFY offers either.Comment

Ive been here for a longtime. It changed from when I started. I would say back then it 80% industry 20% others. Now probably its the other way around and its become very dark and mean. Like you never heard before of a fight on this board and the person fucking with the person in the real world or fucking with his business.
I was working in bricks and mortar those businesses had lots of people around so besides work it was social. Working at home I didnt have that any more and GFY replaced that for me. I come here less than I used too.
I think they will never make it industry only.I see it going an all surfer board first.Comment

So what I meant was: when I launched my network i had Xx dollars coming in from being an aff and having a couple scattered paysites (including my own). From there I just kept building and building and building....
Another context: I run an entire network of sites; if I had 1 or 2 sites and were trying to make what I make network-wide with only that 1 site I would be in a differant boat, and have a differant biz model. I guess what I'm saying is: anyone MAD/LOONY enough to want to own/run dozens of sites WILL still make money, they just have to keep building and building and building....
