Looks good. I have the 5d original (pre mk2) and I like it a lot. Wanted to grab the mk 2 but my 5d does exactly what I want it to...and in this economy I can't really go out and just spend money for toys I don't need.
What glass do you have? That makes a lot of difference in what you'll be able to do as well.

Im not so sure about that. Softening as in touchup/airbrushing? (smart blur?) - My photos never turn out looking a tad blurry like that.
