My answer would probably have to be insurance. The search is higher than my 2nd choice (poker, which if the US ever legalizes/regulates/taxes online poker, will prompts another huge boom in it), and it would seem that an insurance company that handles ALL kinds of insurance should be able to get over it not being targeted and there's just insane amounts of money in it. Car insurance is huge enough on its own as evidenced by the fact that a few auto insurance companies are always near the top of Adwords spending and probably TV commercial spending as well, but try adding up ALL insurance markets. My 3rd choice would be hotels, which actually has considerably higher search than insurance but not as high CPC and I think ultimately the amount the traffic is worth would be higher with insurance.
Ones like games, music, video(s) and movies would be nice for the sheer volume of traffic, but the value of the traffic is far less, and I think perhaps if there was only 1 term for lawyer vs. the existence of both lawyer and attorney, that'd be a top 3 term, plus a lot of people would be searching other ancillary terms anyways.Last edited by PornMD; 09-14-2010, 12:20 PM.Want to crush it in mainstream with Facebook ads?
