I wonder which is much harder to believe, that Jesus really existed and devoted his life for the benefit of the others or that your not adopted by your parents?
Can you remember the time during your birth? Why did you believed everyone says your not adopted.
The answer is simple, follow your heart and not your playful mind.
Respect everyones religion is very important.
That's how we can keep peace in this sinful world.

Um, sorry dude...that was Jesus (pronounced Hey-Zeus), and he exists alright, but he's the guy that mows your lawn, and bangs your wife while you're at work...

Merry Easter,

If you would like to celebrate Happy "Jesus Got Murdered Today" Day with me you can sign this song it's a traditional one for this day:
Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. He's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked Witch is dead!
Oooooh, spelling with words..................does that make you a witch too

Just like to share this quote: "It's always better to believe that there is a God and die finding there is none than not to believe in any God and die finding he existed."
I believe our prayers go to same GOD but of course you cannot serve 2 masters, "MONEY" or "GOD".

Sorry I'm late to the thread, but I just wanted to point out a couple of major glaring flaws in the whole Jesus concept. First of all, there are records of a man named Jesus born in the area when Christianity's Jesus was born. The problem here is, there were dozens of them...Jesus was a very popular name at the time. Secondly, the story of Jesus is little different than that of Horus. There's also a "Messiah" about a century after Jesus with a very similar story (I don't remember the name). And finally, anyone who knows their history knows that the various holidays regarding Christianity were copied from older religions, which is a whole other ball of wax entirely. Why would we be looking at December 25th as the "birth of Christ" yet not a specific day in the year for the "death of Christ"? How does that make any sense at all? When we look at death records, they always mention a specific date, even for deaths that predate Jesus' supposed death. So why is it that no one knows his real date of death, but instead relates it to this one particular Sunday? Oh wait, that's right...because they needed an Ostare cover-up holiday. Shit man, I used to get in trouble for asking these logical questions as a kid. It's no wonder I grew up to detest religion when the people who trumpet this stuff can't even answer a simple question.Comment

The plain and simple truth about much of Christianity is that it is in fact a somewhat eclectic mix of much earlier belife systems and mystery school teachings edited, altered and re-hashed by the church fathers as something that was "invented" with and by JC.Last edited by wizhard; 04-06-2007, 09:27 AM.Laughing Out LoudComment

The Dec 25th date was set up hundreds of years later by the Chruch. Pagans at the time celebrated a winter holiday. By saying Christ was born at that time it was easier to convert the pagans. Actually some guys already figured out that Jeuss was really born sometime in late march early April.
The reason why Easter changes is because the Jewish Passover holiday changes and Jesus died durring Passover. Rememebr Jesus and his first followers were Jewish. They didn't abandon their jewish traditions right away. Also different sect celebrate easter at different times. some do in fact have it on the same day each year.Comment

He's not celebrating it - he's getting ready for the matchup
Stupid idiots that believe in any religion deserve to shoot each other up and die like they have for thousands of years

It also changes because Easter was originally a Pagan holiday celebrating the equinox and spring with remembrences to Ester or whoever the Goddess of Spring was at the time (many different spellings) - they also had a legend of a person named Attis or something like that in 200 BC that was supposedly dead and resurrected and it is from that story that the christian stories of jesus came from - finally around 300 ad the christians finally wrote the full story of jesus and resurrection and got rid of the pagan story entirely - its all just a bunch of BS that each religion makes up to suit their needsThe reason why Easter changes is because the Jewish Passover holiday changes and Jesus died durring Passover. you mean like the christians did during the crusades? or like during the spanish inquisition? how about the religions today that kill gay people, hundreds of innocent people who happen to be in the way when a single cartoonist makes a toon that offends their religious beliefs - oh, and don't forget killing women who want an education or wear western clothing.
yup, those are obviously religions worthy of respect... showing them respect will obviously give us world peace

Actually the Romans of that era used to execute criminals on a STAKE, NOT a cross. The cross part of the story evolved later. Wouldn't THAT throw a monkeywrench into religion Iconography. The symbol of the cross was yet another religious artifact that was around and in use thousands of years before the birth of christ. It was used in ancient Egypt, the symbol for venus is a circle and a cross, Saturn was a cross and a ram's horn. They took the symbolism of dying on the cross from the backgroudn of many other religions and as they have done with many of the ceremonies/symbols surrounding christianity, they've hacked them from pagan beliefs and jammed them into their own needs. (In fact most often the cross was used in ancient religions as a PHALLIC symbol, funny that, no?)Comment

Jesus was a true historical figure who made an impact on many religions (even the Muslum religion sees Jesus as a prophet). However, like playing telephone, over the years the story changed and changed and became more and more glorified until suddenly he wasn't just a man, he was all these other things too. None of the scriptures in the bible were written exactly contemporary with Jesus's life... in fact the vast majority were written after Jesus was already dead and many years had passed. I'm sure there's NO embellishment there (like there is in every single set of religious texts since time immemmorial... religion IS ABOUT embellishment). There is lots of historical evidence that says that Jesus was a real man, and I'm sure no man since has left such an impact on millenia of people who followed him. He was still a man though after all.

well lets suppose that now that they have some DNA from those bones they found that they clone him into the physical realm and turn him into a real man back from the dead!First of all I'm an athiest. I don't believe in any gods. Jesus was real person there is enough historical evidence of that. Was he the son of god, did he perform miracles, did he rise from the dead? No. I'm just explaining the story that even the most devout Christian gets wrong.Comment

Cloning his DNA would not make him Jesus, it would make him an exact physical replica of the man without the world experience and knowledge. Most people just assume they'd come back with the knowledge, but last time I checked intelligence was in the brain, not the bones lol.Comment

Obviously you missed the humor/satire based on the fact that hundreds of millions have been killed in the name of religion over the last 20 centurys or so - and by doing so have proven themselves to be idiots - so any thinking person would encourage this practice since it is obviously "accepted practice" within religion and makes less idiots in the long run which seems to be a win-win solutionComment
