No, not really, since I called both of my banks to ask about this matter and received the same response from both. It takes time for both sponsors and banks to do the transfers, so someone is going to pay for it.
It would seem though that this thread has eilicited favorable responses from sponsors who are not passing along the cost to affiliates though and that is a very good thing.
