I had to sign so many freaking checks today for affiliates my hand freaking hurts! Glad our affiliates all swaped to checks but DAMN that was a big stack.

granted that's pretty shaky but do you see any existing systems to trust, or will there be another system similar to epass in the near future?
an epass type processing method is now ingrained within the webmaster psyche so will have to be a bonafide replacement at some point.

I'm really leaning towards thinning out who we do business with and catering to affiliates one on one. Epassporte was a great tool for paying a lot of people quickly and in many cases small amounts of money. I think that may change. I see much more value developing partnerships with affiliates and doing bigger business with fewer people.Comment

I hope so. This last period all affiliates that were due epass opted for checks. ICQed with a few webmasters about payoneer but no one I spoke with has an account there yet and are unsure if that will be the way to go. I guess it really depends on webmaster / industry adoption.
I'm willing to do paypal short term, even cover the fees on our end. I just don't like to use it on a reg basis because of the freezes and investigations that can come with it, why put affiliate earnings at risk, you know.
I guess if we can take away anything from this situation in the future I can't see many individuals storing any large sums for any extended period of time in any of these types of accounts. I don't know how much of the business model relies on the interest derived from deposited funds, if something comparable does open up in the future it may involve higher fees

What about ACH direct deposit payments? Some companies offer this but it's not very popular for some reason.
This could solve part of the problem along with wires as far as getting paid without checks.

Dude,i hate cheques.Currently i have frozen account on epass,paypal and my own bank account because every time i put check on account,account is frozen till it's processed and it can take more then one month,not the mention how it takes some time for check to arrive.Also,if you dont dare to open partner account on payoneer,you can use loading function which cost more compared to partner load(partner load is 2$ fee for receiver,and credit card load is 3.5% fee for receiver).So you could put payoneer option even now for payment since credit card load is zero risk for you.Comment
