    Who eats meat on good friday ??

    Just cruious ?

    I dont and it is not that i am catholic its just something that i have done since i was a child.

          I have no particular days I do not eat meat. Typically I will eat meat every day of the year unless I really am on a salad fix.

          Now does this anti meat rule apply to all meat, just no cooking of it that day, what about poultry or fish, meat stock?

                                                                                                                              I remember as a kid always giving up something for Lent (like chocolate), to reflect Jesus's fasting in the desert. Why can you not eat meat on the day he was killed though?

                                                                                                                              Also you find very different traditions in different countries, so it is not always a matter of Catholicism.
