    ePassporte down; balance zeroed; electron card unusable

    I know the ePassporte SITE has been down from time to time, but I've never had the situation where the Electron card was unusable. I was just DECLINED at an ATM...

    EPassporte's site shows balance = $0.00 and "technical issues"...

    Could the U.S. government have pulled the plug on ePassporte because of the gambing issue??? If the government were to do that, it would probably look just like it looks now...

                                                                                                              every bank goes down for a few everyone once in a while. When i was in PA my bank would go down like once a month or more at 2am on friday or saturday night. I only know this because i couldnt pay my bar tab.

                                                                                                              IMO epass going down every once in a while is the cost of doing business. if you are relying on epass as your only source of funds and as a bank to hold your life savings, then you seriously need to reconsider your thoughts.

                                                                                                              I like epassporte and have no problems with them and understand things happen like this. who knows, maybe they are implementing high end anitfraud measurements to stop your money from ending up in other peoples accounts
