This is the exact response everybody was giving last time this was brought up. All of the GFY doctors agreed that circumcision would do nothing to prevent AIDS.

Is it because everyone is against circumcision (it seems to be predominantly Europeans) or does GFY have a vast wealth of medical professionals?

I haven't said what I believe. I'm just posting news and asking why such strong opinions. I'm not a doctor, nor have I done the research. Hell I don't even know all that much about AIDS.

I'm certainly not qualified to say the argument is true. Are you qualified to say the argument is false?

The little I have read, has led me to believe that supposedly the foreskin can "hang on" to the virus, as ridiculous as it sounds. I have also read that its more difficult for men to get AIDS from women through sex then the reverse.

circumcision is pretty fucked up but studies do show that intact foreskins are more likely to get tiny abrasions rather than those who don't have foreskins.

you probably wouldn't even notice in most cases but you have to agree that it must happen to someone, somehow circumsized or not otherwise aids and other diseases transfered via blood wouldn't be an issue.

exactly - thats the point. it has something to do with safer sex, the way you choose your sex partners, the sex practics and unfortunately the place you live (like africa). and not whether you have a foreskin or not
