Plus the recession is pushing even mid-level jobs requiring a high degree of analysis offshore at a faster rate than before--Insurance claims, medical analysis, even legal work (evidence/privilege screening) are moving offshore (India primarily).
The question that looms is not whether there will be a jobless recovery but whether the new crop of jobs will match the education/experience level of the work force. Serious changes. Also serious opportunities as the US economy evolves.
