Give me a fucking break. The latest updates have been "we're working on it" and those have become few and far between.
All people are asking for is the owner of the company come on the boards and post a pre-written statement explaining the plan. I'm sure the lawyers could come up with something doable. And if they cant? Then everyone knows they're really fucked.
They can have all the lawyers they want but as BP found out, they're already being tried in the court of public opinion and the more they stay silent the more guilty they will be found.
A PR firm who know how to weather a shit storm would be a start. Posting about your movie coming out but leaving a rep out to dry on something important looks bad. It would be like a CEO of an oil company going to a weekend yacht race while an entire region cleans up your mistake.... oh wait.

I don't think any good lawyer would recommend silence and be willing to let his clients business fold for no reason, if anything, that good lawyer would help or recommend someone to write a statement addressing things and try to keep things smoothed.

This is the 3rd full business day, 4th if you count the day they went off which I'm sure they knew atleast a couple hrs before it happened. Not to mention, business days asside, it will be a week tomorrow and he hasn't so much as said a word. So it has been enough days to type up a statement.
