Wednesday
Thanks to Smashbucks and their fellow sponsors for the Cherry Lounge party. It rocked and the dancers were hot. Thanks to VS Tim for trying to keep up with me in our "Last Man Standing" drinking contest and for everyone who shared some shots
Apparently it seems the bouncer threw me out at the end, but I'm glad to find out it wasn't for doing anything stupid, it's simply cuz I shoved him out of the way on my way to the bathroom cuz I had to puke. Then he was just an asshole about it. Funny story after I left, I hopped in a taxi and told him to take me to the Mission Palms which was a block away. He drove me around the club once and dropped me back off yet only charged me $4 - heh I mean if he wanted to rip me off, he could have charged more.
Next came some cash game poker, great to play and take some money off all of you guys who know who you are....followed by ASU adventures (or attempt at) with Trustcash Greg, Mr.Shoehorn and Pornopat
This was pretty much the only night I got really wasted, surprisingly enough. Guess I'm getting old.
Thursday
Fairly relaxed day, talked to a few people about business. Hooters was great and less crowded than last year so that was nice, wings and beer and hot waitresses how coudl you ever go wrong? Then we had the GFY warm-up party. Was fun but I think indoors has a better vibe for that kind of party. Ended up playing poker again by the end of the night and won myself a nice $1300
Friday
Attended a seminar, then hugn out at the cool new networking room in the Abbey setup by CCBill for their sponsors. I think this was a good idea to add to the show while remaining more relaxed than standing at a booth all day. On to a VS dinner at a tasty Asian restaurant, then it was time for Pimproll's Suite 301 party which really rocked!! That place sure has changed since I went there last year and it was empty so they gave us everything we wanted for $1
Saturday
Checked out the street fair a bit, did lunch, melted in the heat, watched me some naked dodgeball (even though we were slightly disappointed we didn't have to defend our title this year), chilled at the reception and got ready for the Poker Tourny. I had to leave to the airport at 5am so knew it wouldn't be too hard a night. Lost in the tourny early and then dodger showed up and we went on a mission to rid ourselves of a bottle of Guaro by making passerbys drink it. Many obliged. Then we went across the street with him, me, Anna, Amber and her man back to 301 to party. Seems 15 people coming with us got lost behind
Some partying then a stop by the TopBuck's suite party followed by the PrideBucks's suite party and I was nice and toasted, ready to do some 2 minute packing and leave for the airport. Got home, and well back to work.
Heading back up to LA tomorrow morning though for some more partying, maybe a hockey game, a trip to gangbanger amusement park and who knows what else
That's it, I kept from naming people because I already know damn well I'll forget half the people I hang with...but you all know who you are.
