Happy Labor Day to all. I'm having my coffee with some godiva liqure in it to start this wonderful day. I will only be working 1/2 a day today and then going to the beach to relax.

It didn't do any real damage that I saw. We had a couple windy days and I had to take down my bird feeders but that was it. The surfers were still out and the Island was packed and business as usual. It's still pretty crowded today but people are header home after the holiday weekend. I just people watch from above and make sure to get everything I need Thursday night so I don't have to deal with people or traffic.

good to hear.... every once in a while we'd get giant swells & waves coming in (usually winter time) on Maui, and it would decimate the south beaches like Keawakapu.... would take several months for it to correct itself.

They are constantly doing beach erosion construction on the south end of the island. I'm praying all the other waves off Africa stay far away from land this year.
