    My Payoneer card has an expiration date that is months away, but I am being advised by Payoneer that I need to replace my card within the next two months. Why I am I required to replace a card that continues to be valid?
    As part of our ongoing effort to enhance the services we offer, Payoneer is now issuing new cards to some of our cardholders. The cards will be issued with a new bank, and will provide immediate benefits as well as a platform for offering additional services in the near future.

    How is the new card different?
    Payoneer has selected a new issuing bank and with this change will be issuing the new Payoneer Choice MasterCard card. The main immediate benefit to users will be higher daily withdrawal and spending limits.

    What are the daily limits on the Payoneer Choice MasterCard card?
    The new limits are these:
    Daily withdrawal limit (at ATMs or with bank tellers): $2500
    Daily purchase limit: $2500
    Total daily spending limit: $5000

    What do I need to do to replace my card?
    To prevent disruption in service, order your new Payoneer Choice MasterCard card today:
    1. Log into your account at www.payoneer.com
    2. Request a new card.
    The new card will be shipped to you FREE of cost within a few days; you will be charged no shipping charges or activation fees. You can use your current card until you receive the new one.

    What happens if I don?t order a new card?
    Between July and August 2010, existing Payoneer cards issued by MetaBank will cease to be loaded with payouts (the exact end date for loading varies by partner program). If your existing card has a balance on it, you will be able to use the card until two months from the notification date, but no new funds will be loaded to this card.

                    I just learned that VISA prepaid cards are indeed filled with the money on them. Meaning that if VISA decides to block these kind of cards, the money will be frozen on them.

                    Hopefully it's possible to release them....

                                                        If epassporte users knew a visa ban or other problems would block their funds in the virtual account and not the ewallet, 100% of the users would have their funds in the e-wallet.

                                                            Keyser Soze - may I still call you that? - the crap he posted in that original post marked the first time I've actually been raging, ready to go ballistic, angry. I had to take my seven month old puppy and go out for a walk to calm down. We walked the half mile down to Lake Ontario and watched the water for an hour. Sat at the top of the Scarborough Bluffs.                                                             Then I came back to GFY and realized that I was still pissed off. In nine years, I have rarely seen anything so objectionable.

                                                            Regardless of what happens with Epass, you have offered me support beyond what I pay you (which is nothing), and Epass has helped me expand my business by opening up new markets, and by allowing me to work with new people.

                                                            I will wait until this is cleared up and - no matter what happens - I will be thankful for everything that you and Epass have helped me accomplish.

                                                                                Guys, your money on epass is safe. Visa can't keep the funds on prepaid cards, but can only temporary block them. The money will eventually release, that's just matter of time.
                                                                                I was never worried about the money on my account, only with the option that epass wont come up from this and will get out of the business, which is also small chance imo.

                                                                                    the worst fallout will be in the next couple weeks if people can't pay for hosting and domains, so those companies will hurt, people buying less services - designs, traffic, writers -by the time people get checks it will be too late for many and they will move on. if people can't get epass again by the second half of the month there will be a big hole in an already hurting biz. and that's no joke. even if you are not affected immediately, a whole shit load of commerce is going to leave.

                                                                                            I accept a whole deal of payment types as a convenience to my clients, but 95% preferred epass because they get paid from sponsors via epass.

                                                                                            Even though I accept PP, WMZ, Payoneer, Money Bookers, Major Credit Cards and Visa/Mastercard Debit biz is going to be hurting, just like for many other service providers since our clients can't pay due to their money being tied up/frozen.

                                                                                                            I think they will have to send new ones for free, although somehow I think it won't be visa cards anymore, maybe MasterCard which is not great cause I used My virtual Visa to get money from Paypal and you can't do that with MasterCard...

Money that I cannot access, money that nobody knows whether or when I will ever be able to get, is not "safe and secure".

                                                                                                                    In response to the initial message from Epassporte before I ever saw this thread, I sent (without much hope, having had such bad luck with general Epassporte support before) a message center inquiry asking how I could access the funds locked on my Virtual Visa. This is what they told me:
                                                                                                                    In regards to your concern, please be informed that your funds are
                                                                                                                    available in your Visa Virtual Card (Account). As per the new update
                                                                                                                    received from our Account Verification Department, you will be unable to
                                                                                                                    use the funds which are available in your Visa Virtual Card.

                                                                                                                    Our Account Verification Department is working to resolve the issue. Only
                                                                                                                    once the issue is resolved, you will be able to use the funds which are
                                                                                                                    available in your Visa Virtual Card. The funds are safe and secure.

                                                                                                                            People react emotionally (understandably) when their entire financial house comes crashing down. WHERE'S MY FUCKING MONEY??? So the only thing to do is wait. What else can be done? Go legal? How? Where?

                                                                                                                            I feel bad for everyone affected, and I've been through situations where my money was cut-off with no notice. Very frightening. I hope this all works out for everyone, I really do.

Its time to sit and wait for the resolution next week. Meanwhile it would be great if most sponsors start working in an alternative backup payment method to Epassporte just if this happens again. Looks like OKPAY is a nice option with debit Mastercard and P2P transfers.
