i was driving to college this morning, about 9am, when i noticed that the road had been blocked off my police vans and cars, and they were redirecting all traffic back in the opposite direction.
i could see that there were two fire engines down the street, and about five or six police cars parked in the road behind the street block.
at first, because of the fire engines, i thought that there had been a pretty bad crash or something and there was a danger... maybe a car on fire or something. anyway i headed home and returned just before lunch to find that the fire engines and police cars had gone. i had missed the morning session, so when i got into college i couldn't help but ask someone what was going on this morning.
turns out a bunch of kids from the school further up the road had found a dead body floating face down in the stream at the side of college.
