Should I start a TGP or a Blog ?

Hi,
I would like to develop something around an hot niche.
TGP/MGP traffic is still an efficient system for making money ?
I'm thinking also that Blogs are more interesting to tell a story etc.
could you guys recommend me?

I recommend starting a blog, they receive great search engine traffic and sales are much better then TGPs/MGPs usually

Fuck telling stories, you want to sell porn memberships. In my opinion both methods you mentioned are fairly played out at this point.

If you're gonna start now, and build something big, it will need to be on something a little more then just a tgp OR a blog.

At this point in a knife fight, it's the 'sharp' ones still standing.

Do a Hybrid of different styles. Do a Blog/TGP/Tube/Review site. That way you don't pigeon hole yourself into one type of promotion.

For guideline 1, less than 5 working links on the thumbnails...

I cannot see how it works better? Maybe if surfers have lots of patience finding the pin in the haystack.

However, I like guideline 2 with no more thn 20 pics on a page & guideline 3 trying to keep the surfer on your site until they sign up.

Thanks everybody! it seems that all you agree that a hybrid may be the solution. I planning to make it on WP that is the CMS that i know better. if someone can give technical advice/testimonial of hybrids(blog/tgp) running on WP, I would be grateful.

Basically I want a site that proposes free preview (not less then 3minutes) of a specific niche.
Working with different programs on this same niche and lets the link right to the program, below each preview (not in the home, but in the single page of the selected clip)
like: "This Full Lenght Video Is only available @"

will i make money focusing on quality of selection, the potential of the niche and regular updates etc.?

I love how everyone preaches about the dead and dying "TGP". Everyday I get a ton of emails from many sponsors including all the big guys and guess what? The mails are full of TGP galleries! Where do they all go? Blogs? Why make them if "TGP's" are dying. Around here everything is dying. 1999 is dead, long live 1999. Most of the posters on this board were about 9 years old in 1999.

I wouldn't waste time on trying to pigeonhole your site into one term or another -- you need to stand out from the crowd and today, that takes a hybrid approach -- blog + TGP + Tube +++ or whatever your USP is.

Focus on delivering the type of user experience that YOU would value as a consumer (and be willing to pay for), not on what "type" of site it is and how well it fits the style of countless other sites.
