Yes not unlike any other aspect of the business people ask other people for advice in like business and this is where we do business so yes I think its best to ask from those who are already successful.

Sorry Im looking for answers from people who run date sites not trolls with 50,000 posts thanks.

I have alot of clues on how to start Im just looking for more knowledge.

And as far as competing....

Im sure my small date site will not affect anything they might be doing enough to call it competing LOL.

As far as dating sites goes, I'm pushing 1+ million page views on mainstream dating websites and social network sites with thousands of active paying members. Websites wich I own a part in, not an affiliate program.

So why don't you shut the fuck up and get a clue dumbass.

Id suggest learning how to get traffic to a dating site first.
If you don't know how to do that you will never make it, unless of course you have mega millions to throw at a wall. If that is the case get in touch..lol

I understand about running and getting traffic to a site just not a date site it is a very different aspect isnt it?

Totally different aspects. But unless you have millions to plug in to compete, you can have the best site with the best backend and not make a buck... even google's personals failed.

Getting traffic to it is as hard as getting a whole custom dating site setup...

GOOD LUCK my friend, it isn't the software, there is SOOOOOOOO much more involved in it. It isn't cheap. It is horribly expensive to get started, but once you are there a few years later, it pays off, but 1 of every 100 dating sites tank.

Just giving you some REAL advice from someone that has work/ed with 2 large dating sponsors from the start (or close to).

The only advice I will give you is this: DO NOT BUY A DATING SCRIPT. About all I can do seeing that I work in Adult Dating. I know ya so I am trying to warn you against those things especially one company in paticular. Get one made and then get NATS or whatever software you like to run the admin/payouts/etc.

Sure, icq in sig..... but I'm not giving away any trade secrets/info about the companies I work with or have worked for...just giving advice concerning a company NOT to use for software. (I hate seeing ppl ripped off)

SDC has been good to me, I can't talk about them or give advice on adult dating sites in general, just the scripts not to use and some processor, designers and programmer referrals. (all used and approved!)

In all honestly, you may want to re-think the project and go another way and I could set you up with a partner that has investment dollars, but it's mainstream. I dunno....... just giving you ideas.

The private label is way to start.

Why not try? You may find a niche?? Suspect to niche in is the best chance.

Thanks for the advice.

Now let me tell you a little bit about me.

When I go to a Carnival I like to play the dart games with the stuffed animals.

Even though most of the games are rigged for failure they allow you to play the game.

First you start out at the bottom with the small ones and if you win you can anti up to the bigger ones until you get what you want.

Well lets just say if you ever go to a Carnival and see a guy lugging all the hugh ass stuffed animals around chances are that its me!
