Its better to hook up in RL.
Lots of people know photoshop, or know someone who does. Also, pictures taken from web cams are very forgiving. Keep those two things in mind.
Also, MySpace is a representation of what people WANT to look like to others, not what they really look like to others.
That being said its not any better than any other way of hooking up. At least in RL you see the real person.Comment

I met a real nice girl on myspace...
We talked for a while online, then via phone...then she invited me over to her apartment...
We went out to a bar, had a blast!
