    To AVS or not?

    Hi All,

    I've hit a wall in terms of converting traffic for my site tavia-spizer.com

    At the moment I'm hitting around 5-6K before making a sale...just dismal and disheaterning! In fact, even a months premium advertising on worldsex
    and AL4a, which is bringing in major hits, is failing to help. Strangely enough, I was at a better ratio (1:500) before I re-skinned
    the site some 2 months ago. Now the site look much more profess, but the conversions have gotten progressively worse.

    Anyway, I've been looking to join the AVS (e.g. ProAdult) bandwagon (yeh, I know, 7 years too late). I'm thinking a solo girl site -
    even if the subject is smoking hot - just can't compete with the DDgirls and Twistys of today with their 100k images and 1k vids.

    So AVS or not? Is it worth networking with other webmaster using this model?

    Please discuss.

      Why not revert it to the old design? Not always more professional means more profitable...

          AEN is where the majority of my income still comes from. It's easier to start up, and requires minimal investment. Although networking with other webmasters is possible, it's alot simpler to create your own network of sites.. and i'm sure alot more profitable.

              That's a real good point prezzz. But at this stage, it would take too much BS to turn it back.

              Still, this voice in my head keeps thinking that more content could be the key. Hence, AVS has got me intrigued!

              Anyone with a solo-girl site who took the AVS plunge?

                  If your customers would like a more professional site they would jerk off looking at your banks homepage!... the models sell the tour and even the crappiest of tours convert better than the most professional ones!

                  btw.. the tour pictures break apart on my box running IE7:

                  The first wanted response from your customers is to get them horny at the tour. You don't want them to feel like they are in a clean and professional clinic.

                  Dump the new tour and put the old one back. If you turn it into an AVS it will bump up your rebills unless you already have tons of content

                          Its a beautiful site, and there is no reason on why you are not getting sales unless your traffic source is horrible.

                          We have two really good AVS's with lots of Credibility.

                                  Can't be that hard to change back the tour if your conversions took that much of a dump. I don't know why you just didn't add this one as a second tour to begin with, but 20/20 hindsight would be awesome for me too.

                                  I've used AVS sites quite well in the past (haven't touched them in years, but still gets some checks here and there), but I used them to drive the traffic to my paysites, not in place of them. I need to get back into that.

                                  She's a hot girl, if you've got a ton of content of her I wouldn't go completely AVS with her at all. If you've got some fetish type content of her, or can still shoot her you can make some serious bank selling clips on clips4sale.com but gotta do a fetish angle for that to work.
