Iran has been going down a "we have no common sense" path since they kicked out IAEA inspectors and started enriching uranium while whistling and staring at the sky. It's sort of like they are hiding behind a 1 inch thick tree and thinking they can't be seen.

All they had to do (and can still do afaik) was accept the gift-wrapped Uranium that the UN was offering up for free. But no... in insist they spend money on it to enrich it themselves because it's for "peaceful purposes".

And yet, they just kidnapped 15 British sailors... but don't worry everyone, I bet it's for "peaceful purposes only".

Anyone else notice Ahmadinejad looks more like a monkey (too)? The facial hair doesn't help at all.

After everything I've been force fed about Iraq, I am leaning towards the possibility that they were indeed in Iran waters, and that they should just own up to the mistake, get the sailors back, and be the end of it.

although i thought the iraq war was a really bad and stupid move, i am hoping that we will do some serious damage to iran with some airstrikes or something at least.

Hey, if Iran can stop enriching Uranium, just use the one that Russia is offering for free, and let the inspectors back in... I'm pretty sure the British can be persuaded to take a fall for this.

It's funny though, Iran has already humiliated themselves when they announced the coordinates of where they captured the sailors. These coordinates were indeed in Iraqi waters - when the British told them this, they changed their story. If only that announcement was made today for April Fools instead of last week, they had an excuse!
