Obama did not create the 2 trillion in debt, we can see exactly what he spent his stimulus on and how much - and it isn't anywhere close to 2 trillion. You can't find where Obama spent 2 extra trillion dollars, you can't find it in the budget, on the books, war records, any place. Because a big part of it is a correction. And of course Jobs being down makes the debt go up, the automatic stabilizer kicks in. Again, not Obama's doing or fault. Bah....

People like you make American one sad place to live.. uneducated shit stains running all over this Country pretending like they have any type of clue - you make me sick.

I think that it really depends on who the Republicans can put up against him. In the current climate the only way one will be able to get the nomination is if they pander to the tea party and by doing that they will be moving to a too extreme point which will not appeal to the overall electorate.

So unless the Republicans can start to move more towards the middle I think they do not have a chance at the White House in 2012

I think you are wrong. McCain was in the middle, Bush was in the middle. We know how that worked out. The more libertarian the republican candidate is the better chance they have.

Isn't Libertarian in the middle? I really don't know, I just assumed it was.

              Bingo.

It's one thing to go on and on about what a disappointment the current President is. It's quite another to come up with a viable flesh and blood alternative.

He will get in for a 2nd term because..

                  1. There is no reasonable opponent
                  2. I am not entirely sure the GOP wants to get in this time round. Give the man enough rope to hang himself.

So true, I was all for McCain until I heard Sarah Palin's first speech.

The country is at a crossroad. Most people believe we need to fix a lot of problems that no one has been able to fix in decades, like healthcare, energy dependence, pollution, etc.

The corporations who stand to lose the most, once any of these issues are realistically addressed, do not want to accept these inevitable changes coming down the pike.

They buy our politicians (both sides of the aisle), they set up fear campaigns for distractions, and they bamboozle legitimately angry Americans to follow movements, like the Tea Party, which they have already hijacked right out from under you.

If you do not realize this, then you are blind to the truth.

Obama is facing opposition, controlled by these corporations, who do not give a SHIT about you! In return for offering nothing productive whatsoever, they think they can gain back power, as they had for the past 8 years. Years where the corporations shipped out US jobs, did nothing about healthcare, virtually eliminated the middle class, did not address energy, did not address the environment, did not monitor wall street's insane non-regulated gambling, etc.

It is possible that these forces are so strong now, that they WILL be able to stop Obama from doing ANYTHING worthwhile. Half of you idiots think that's just fine, and somehow feel it is a good move. You are true assholes.

United we stand and divided we fall, as they say, and some of you are more than happy to fan the flames of division, totally against your very own best interests.

It is sad to see, to say the least, but unless the people who govern this country unite for the common good of the people, instead of for the fat cats that are their true owners, we are all fucked, regardless of which way you lean politically.

Now the GOP is about to begin a litigation campaign against this administration, along the lines of what they did to Clinton. If they can't get their way, they act like fucking 2 year old brats, ALL AT OUR EXPENSE.

How many of you are in the top 2% income bracket? If you are not, and you are railing against the Bush tax breaks for the rich expiring (as just one example), then you are being played - clear and simple.

                            WAKE THE FUCK UP!
