I do Amazon on Demand a lot actually. It gets expensive though, two dollars for every episode. I think these set-top boxes might just be a segue into à la carte TV, that wouldn't be too bad. Most of the new TVs and players all have Internet connectivity now, you can download all sorts of apps. In five years even more people will have broadband Internet (or maybe even something better) plus Internet connected TVs or devices, cable/satellite TV could be an afterthought.
