ok you want good rap, well her you go, jayz kingdome come, nas hiphop is dead, both brilliant albums by respectable artists, then you got ppl like, lupe fiasco, common, mos def, talib kweli, blackstar, diggable planets, fort minor, the roots, dilated peoples.
and i bet none of you have even thought twice of looking into british hip hop, i mean americans arent the only people who can rap, in the uk you got dizzee rascal, kano, sway, lethal bizzle, plan b, pyrelli, skinny man, crazy titch, crimes kid, taliban trim, and one of my friends the up and coming rapper known as sam haque

but your right, rap music has peaked, but alot of the stuff coming out, even the stuff which isnt original is hot, try listening to im a soilder by bishop lamont, and tell me that it isnt a hop track

WOW that was like 1991... I was 8 years old and i was smoking my first blunts from weed I use to steal from my mom. I couldn't even roll the shit right, I would have to go outside and find somebody else to roll it for me. I miss those days, New York City was different back then.
