I only like to like one or two shows on it at most.
During the day it plays just the same chart pish as every other station around.

Judge Jules show on a Saturday at 7pm is the best !!

true they do play alot of the same old chart stuff, but no other station has the guest that radio1 has no other station has the live music radio1 has plus the radio1 dj's are brilliant, chris moyles, jo whiley, scott mills, sara cox, they are all brilliant, but radio1 really gets good around 7 each day, when you get things like zane lowe, annie mac, colin murray, westwood (tho he annoys me) miles davis and so on.

and what other station does one big weekend, a free fucking festival, and its brilliant, they havent announced the line up yet, but these are the people who have played in the past

Franz Ferdinand, Gnarls Barkley, Keane, Muse, Mylo, Pink, Primal Scream, Razorlight, Sugababes, Foo Fighters, Chemical Brothers, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Destiny's Child, Alicia Keys, Jamiroquai, Basement Jaxx, White Stripes, Stereophonics, The Darkness, Travis, Dido, Ash, Kelis, Faithless, The Streets, Avril Lavigne, Magic Numbers, Kaiser Chiefs, Maximo Park, The Kooks, Hot Chip and more.

The radio here is permanently tuned to BBC Radio Five Live, the weekly highlight being Mark Kermode's Friday afternoon movie reviews.

I like BBC 6 music, radio 1 is too commercial, 1 extra is good in places aswell.
If 5 live would stop blocking the fucking football for non uk IP's I'd listen to that aswell, hehe.

i take it the guy who started this thread isnt british cos radio1 isnt an online radio station, its broadcast throughout the entire uk on analogue radio, its broadcast on digital tv and radio in the uk, its broadcast on sirirus satellite radio in the states, and its also streamed live online. as well as that they also have listen again online which lets you listen to virtually any show that was broadcast within the last week.

Radio1 kicks ass, thats because the bbc kicks ass

and for the guy who asked the url is

                  http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio1.shtml
