So...here's the ending first, like Mr. Tarentino (sp?)



The Phx forum golf tournament is coming up right? I will enter the story on how I ended up in the lake, Raj in the driver seat and our golf clubs at the bottom of the lake.

Let me also preface the story with how the golf tourney ended the year before last. I brought some of our models to the course. The lovely Spring Thomas and Sophia. Well, they are booze hounds, ended up drinking too much, hitting one of the boys from MobBucks with their cart. The bad part was, he (I think Mike) was standing behind his cart, so he got sandwiched between 2 carts. Knocked off the course and sent to the ER. So then Sophia and Spring are in the bar and one of the guys from UltraDNS (Jon) is giving Sophia a hard time. Sophia decides it would be a good idea to cause a huge scene and get thrown off the course. Her and Spring both booted. They needed a ride back to the hotel, so one of the greens keepers was nice enough to give us all a ride back.



So Fast FWD a year to last year...

I signed up by myself that year because my brother Billy Watson punked out on me, so I'm flying solo. I have no idea who I am going to be paired up with. So I show up, take the bus to the course, and find out who I got grouped with. It was Poppy, and Mike (from Vivid) in one cart and Raj and me in another cart. We start on hole 2 and will end the day on hole 1.



Well, we are starting to get to know each other, having a good time. Nothing too crazy, a few beers here and there. Teasing the cart girl a little. Just having a good time.

We come to the 16th or 17th hole. Let me explain this hole a little bit,you tee off about 40-50 ft higher than the pin. It's only a par 3, and it's the silvercash 50k hole in one contest. We pull up and see Chris from FTVGirls hanging out in his cart. He had a lil' to drink and we were chatting and hanging out. I go to tee off and he tells me that if I hit this hole in one, he will match the 50k from SilverCash and he prolly really would have. So I laugh, pull out my 8 iron and tee off.

It's headed dead straight to the pin. Drops about 18 feet short and starts rolling. Now Chris and the people there are screaming, cause it looks good. It's rolling to the pin, but stops short by about 10 ft. Chris starts throwing golf balls at me telling me to do it again, and again and again. I hit 3 more and of course I never come as close.

So Mike, Poppy, Raj and I finish out the day. We are the last ones on the course. Everyone is up in the club house getting ready for the dinner to start. Raj and I are driving towards the clubhouse. We see the Park Ranger riding on the path towards us (he's going to call us in for the day). We give him the friendly wave, he stops his cart and puts it in reverse. We keep heading towards him...
---Now this was all in slow motion---
Raj is heading towards the ranger, the ranger is in reverse and by the look on his face, he's having fun with us. Like some sort of reverse chicken game or something. He's laughing, we're laughing as we head towards him. Now, I don't know if Raj realized this, but we were going much faster forwards than the ranger was going backwards. Now the happy face on the ranger turns into panic. Raj starts to panic too... why not hit the brake? Who knows? Raj tries to pass the ranger on the left, but notices that the cart path is too narrow and there is a lake to the left so he over corrects to the right, we hit the ranger's cart. We don't hit it head on, the front passenger wheel (where I am) hits the passenger side wheel well of the park ranger. We drive over it and Raj tries to cut left again. So we basically ramp the ranger's wheel well and the cart is on two wheels, heading left towards the lake.

There is a 2 foot drop from the grass and the water. We're on 2 wheels still, and drop off the side of the grass into the lake. The cart lands sideways, half of the fucking cart is underwater. We are fucking freaked out. I look over cause I am scared Raj is pinned under the cart and drowning or some shit. He wasn't thank god. All I hear is Poppy and Mike dying with laughter. Non-stop laughing. I'm sorta pissed for a minute, then I lighten up.







Raj had his phone and wallet on the dash of the cart. It was never seen again. Good thing he has his passport in his hotel room. Next thing I know, we are fishing out the clubs and our other shit that was in the back of the cart. Hats, shoes, and anything else that wasn't attached to the cart. At this point word must have gotten back to the club house. JFK comes up with his camera and starts snapping pics... fun times. My BlackBerry stops working. I'm a lil bummed, but Raj said he would buy me a new one. It dried out and started working again, so he didn't need to.
Some security guys from the course came and interviewed us, then they interview the beer cart girl. They thought we were wasted or something. But we weren't. We head up to the dinner sopping wet and get couple of drinks and tell the story about 100 times. During the raffle, I win a new golf bag. Pretty fun considering mine was ruined LOL.

NOW Fast Forward to about 3 months ago. I am looking through the FUBAR magazine, and I come to an ad. It's for SexSearch. The ad showcases the pics from this story. Set up like a comic book, with a "water color" photo shop filter on it for adding humor. Yup, there's me, Raja, and Poppy all in this ad. Me and Raj in the water with funny cartoon bubble captions added. blah blah blah

2 years in a row, something fucked happens to me at this tournament. Wonder WTF is going to happen this year.

Sorry it was a lil crazy. I wasn't sure who was there snapping pics. But thanks! Now I can never forget that cart fiasco. And because of the pics, I was able to prove I was telling the truth to all the naysayers that didn't believe me!

Other funny/good memories from Phoenix Forums:

1) Laying on the sidewalk in front of the mens' bathroom of Filibertos at like 11am...cuz I was in no condition for food but TaDoW and Corvette wanted to eat... so I hung outside ... still trying to recover from the night before.

2) Getting hustled in Poker by Punker barbie at SweetApples place.

3) Getting stopped by security going down to phoenix with a couple double ended dildos in our bags. Always a good time. Deciding to leave them at Corvette's apartment ...so we didn't have to deal with it on the return trip. Only to hear about the toys making the rounds at his apartment complex ... from one ASU girls place...to another. Sounded like the toys saw a helluva lot more action than we did for that trip to AZ.

4) Watching one dodgeball player after another blow chunks after all of the jager shots... this might have been the first year.

5) The multiple weddings at the various hotels over the years. Always awkward. Always a good laugh.

6) Getting to let out some residual board agression... at the Lightspeed Paintball game.

7) Touring CCBill HQ, getting to meet some of the people that I've talked to over the years .. face to face.... and seeing the original conversion machine.

8) the XXXCash party. Simply Amazing. Hard to call it an office. I've yet to visit another office (mainstream or adult) where as much thought/money had gone into the design of the space. Kudos Sal.

9) Getting dragged over to a gay party by swapna (ccbill employee)... boy that was an eye opening event. Lange, what were you doing there?

10) Always knowing that the night is going to end in the Lightspeed hospitality suite.

11) Being 26 years old ... and not being able to get into one of the parties (at the Library) because I had a washington state ID card... not a drivers license. Good Times.

12) Being invited out to Steve and Shannon Lightspeed's house for a BBQ. It is a special thing, when somebody let's you come to their house. Over the years that has included Carol, AaronM, Daphna/Allen, Lagwagon (FTVGirls), PunkerBarbie, Wiseman, Justin from TrafficGigolos, Corvette, SeanE (CCBill), RonC, Randy from AMC, Quinn and Steve from PimpProfits, Scottie from SweetApples and Rochard. It was a great night. good food. Thanks steve and shannon you guys have been a major part of most of my fondest memories of the forum!

13). Hooters. Enough Said ;)

14) Snack Shack. What a simple idea and probably one of the most talked about an appreciated item at any of our trade shows. I've definately taken my share of yogurt, fritos, and bottled water from there. Since finding the time and remembering to eat... takes a back seat to "networking" ... being able to stop through there for a banana or whatever... is such a life saver.

15) But ... probably one of my fondest memories... is having people hit me up and asking me about ccbill (assuming I work for them, which I obviously don't...but I'm a loyal customer and a pretty good billboard)

What a blast this thread has been .. SOOOO many good times and SOOOO many awesome memories .......

No wonder Forum is still the benchmark as THE show to be at.

CCBill have always been top notch, and well, the Forum is simply THE one show you cannot EVER afford to miss.

I have had SOOOO many unbelievably good times and had SOOOO much fun, the stories just keep flooding on back .....

MANY stories are forever locked in the vault, to protect the guilty of course, because there is NO such thing as an innocent at Phoenix Forum.

The Sunday night last year fits that bill ... started at Christies with a bunch of peeps led from the front by Alan and Paulie from CapitalBucks, with AdultWhosWho Derek capturing a BoyAlley moment on video between me and Chaos from PinkPays ... and the Justin and the TrafficGigolos team joining in and picking up an awesome party up in the VIP..... and THAT was just the START of a LONG night .... J-Reel got pics (as he does), but those are locked away tight .. well at least some are ... the one of me test-driving the Fleshlight slipped out - what didn't was who was really doing the driving !! A 9am Monday party finish meant I got to the airport late, then got bumped off the flight anyway, and spent that night recovering at the Marriot on the AmericaWest account .......

My favorite memory (amongst MANY) was also last year at the Friday night late night Lightspeed party ....... and have not Steve and Shannon always stepped up to the plate when it comes to turning it on for the Phoenix party crowd !! Thanks for the past and thanks in advance I expect !!!! ;-)

Well it was Saturday morning to be exact .....

About 4.30am'ish and the party was still rocking on hard.

There I was, after my (failed) 2nd audition as a new Lightspeed girl (LindsayLightspeed.com has a cool ring to it), but despite my Thursday night attempts in lingerie, even the Friday's effort was crashed and burned by Steve. He he.

So here I am relaxing next to the bar in their suite out by the pool area, resplendent in a purplish floral 2 piece swimsuit, TERRIBLE, yellow blond long hair wig, sucking on my 10000th drink of the Forum, when who saunters across but the lovely Shannon L herself.

Shannon looks at me and I say "hi" and "thanks" for the hospitality, and she has this whole confused look on her face as she looked at me....

So Shannon says to me, "Lindsay, Steve and I are really tired and would like to go to bed. Now this does not really make any sense to me, but Sweetums said that if I wanted to shut down the party now so we can, you are the man to see ?"

The confused looks stayed as I said, "Sure Shannon, anything for you guys, so you want everyone to leave now?"

"Errrr... that'd be great ....", said a still unsure Shannon.

So I put my drink down, put my fingers to my lips and let out my best and loudest whistle and everyone went quiet.

In my usual booming voice I then said, "Steve and Shannon are tired folks and want us all to leave so they can go to bed. Please thanks them heaps for this great party, grab your drinks and head for the door now!".

And everyone did.

And Shannon just looked at me, still confused.

And Sweetums just smiled.

Years and years in security, bouncing and crowd control did count for something.

this isn't on the same level ( Partying, Drinking etc... ) as the others but i thought i'd share it anyhow...

I'm pretty sure most everyone knows by now that Mike Hawk and I got married this past year - so my story ....

It takes place 3 years ago Phx forum...

I had only spoken with Mike via icq/email never met him or spoke with him on the phone... i don't even have the slightest clue what he looks like to pick him out of a crowd. Except for the bit about him being 6'3 and having tattoos.

I'm walking through the courtyard on my way to the lobby and i see this guy that is wearing a SmashBucks shirt, who is a pretty big dude - standing next to another guy with blonde spikey hair. So i think, hrm... that must be Joe Spikes and Mike Hawk!

I sort of give them the "hey, it is you look" and they walk towards me, i say "Hi, I'm Harley" and they both introduced themselves. They were on their way to a meeting and i was on my way to dinner. So it was literally about a 35 second meeting. After we said our nice meeting you's, let's catch up later bits, Mike Hawk reaches down and gives me a great big hug!

Keep in mind it was a 35 second meeting in the courtyard.

So, long story short... that was the only time i saw them for the remainder of the forum and when we got back to our seperate coasts ( FL and CA ) we chatted more and more and a few months later we were an item...

So this is a sort of love/romance story but one for the history books for sure.

3 years later, we are very happily married and have a baby boy on the way!
