    Tony Blair offers Iran hardline decision: Make a move

    Tony Blair has said that if Iran does not release the 15 British troops in a timely manner, he will continue to make press releases suggesting that Iran release the troops. He is committed to pursuing the release of her Majesty's soldiers until they are safe and free, even if that means making really harsh beat-around-the-bush comments for months.

    A spokesperson for the Iranian government has replied "Oh. I didn't realise that the situation was so grave for us. We will be releasing the sailors immediately." he paused for a moment and then shouted "NOT!" into my face.

              LoL this is why I said in another thread the only good thing about Bush is the fact we would have already launched cruise missle at them.

              I feel for the troops and hope they are released but sometimes you have to take the bull by it's horns. Iran is one of those countries that only understands payne.

              I hate Bush and he's a total fuck up, but at least in a situation like this he'd probably act in force. This is the second time Iran has done the same thing to British troops and they will continue to do it because they know they can get away with it.

              Iran needs to get a little bitch slap to knock some sense into them.
              In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

                                                                                  I dont understand why the media is making a big whoop about this - the exact same thing happened 2 years ago with some other British soldiers and sailors taken by Iran - and you didnt hear a peep in the news - and they were returned after the British finally admitted they fucked up and the guys were in Iranian waters - same case here - its just gonna take longer for Blair to admit fault this time

We would have gotten back sooner but Reagan made a deal with the Iranians not to release them so he could win the election in 1980 then have then release after he was inaugurated so it would look good for him.

                                                                                                              As far as my military service - I served at the end of Viet Nam and for 12 years after that - I wont go into a lot of detail - suffice it say that I guarantee you that the medals I have are for actions you wouldnt have the allegiance to the US military or the stomach/guts for - and yes it was the US military I served in.
