You're building the "largest and most upscale" swingers club in Houston, but you're asking for advice on GFY?

Sounds like a disaster in the making, not only from a legal perspective, but socially and financially.

If you haven't completed a basic SWOT analysis or don't have a solid business plan in place for this project, then I would suggest that stop what you're doing right now and perform some extensive research over the next few months.

This is sound advice here, not hating or anything like that. OR perhaps you meant to say that you're THINKING about building the "largest and most upscale" swingers club in Houston.

Heres how the legal side of our club worked - Free info time - lol

OK, theres four separate entities - Separate legally. All with their own sets of books. All running independently in their own right.

Entity 1) An adult website. Based on the traditional ccBill monthly membership model... Website contains amateur couples who want to perform in front of camera for the first time. This needs to be built and be running. You need to have it with stock bought in content. It doesn't need to be amazingly fancy, or showing a profit - It just needs to exist.

Entity 2) The 'club' itself, but its not down on the books as a swing club - Its merely a physical bricks n mortar location. Its doesn't exist in any form as a 'club' or a 'swing club'... Its a movie production studio. With various sets such as a bar, (A bar that works, but is just a 'set') a dance floor, (That works, but is just a 'set') a large communal area, even the locker room and showers etc although fully working... Are considered to be 'sets'

This entity must advertise itself as a place for independent movies to be produced. Sets to hire if you like. (The one in LA was fully licensed as a movie studio, but as to how that applies to Texas, I dont know) Basically, during the time the club isnt running, the 'studios' are availible for people to hire and shoot at. Weather you actually want people to come and shoot is your choice - It can be an extra income - Or avoided by pricing it too high. Thats your choice.

Entity 3) Another NON ADULT (Mainstream) website, selling a weekly info pack, of events and special offers for couples in your area. It includes money off at a local restaurant, deals at nearby hotels, various ideas for things for couples to do together, and also even numbers of baby sitting services in the area, so couples with kids can go out for the nigh. This pack contains NOTHING to do with sex at all - Other than the opportunity to REQUEST an FREE invitation to a FREE private couples only party. Its NOT a guaranteed invite. Its simply the permission to REQUEST a FREE invite - No more no less...

Entity 4) A casting company that specialises in providing models to adult entertainment companies.

So, to recap, we now have, an adult website, a movie studio, a non adult website and a casting company set up... (AND NO 'SWING CLUB') These 4 companies are all above board, and fully legit. So, now we are now ready to begin the legal dance that makes it all work.

The casting company (Entity 4) is holding weekly FREE casting events, to find adult couples, happy to express themselves sexually, infront of others. They are looking for these couples to appear on the adult website (Entity 1) They dont want 'porn stars - they want 'real couples' so they hold a FREE, NO FILMING social meeting on a weekly basis, where adults are allowed, but not required, to openly have sex infront of other couples, and experiment together... With a view of getting hired to perform on the Entity 1 Website. This event is your party... And it is taking place as a FREE EVENT... Should couples want to attend.

In order to hold these casting events, they need a location, that is suitable for the castings, and so they have secured the use of a legitimate movie studios premises (Entity 2)

E4 Will hire E2 to facilitate the casting event for E1

So... You now have your party, a reason for the party, and a way to advertise the existence of your party... The Casting Company can advertise the fact that they are casting for couples for future work. The studio can advertise that it will be unavailable for shooting at on Saturday nights, because it has been block booked by the casting company... And the adult website (E1) can advertise that they are looking for new couples, and point them to the casting company, for castings...

Key point to rember that all three entitys are doing what they are supposed to do. The website is looking for new couples - The casting company is holding a casting event - and the studio is being hired as a location... So theres your party. Everything is above board, and on top of that...

The party is 100% FREE for couples to attend. With NO OBLIGATION at all to be filmed.

So... How do you make your money? Well to be able to attened a party, they have to make a purchase of the 'couples night out kit' from Entity 3 - For say $100 a time? or $150 a time - Up to you...

Your NEVER SELLING A PARTY... At best, just PERMISSION TO REQUEST AN INVITE. Should a request come from an address that hasn't purchased a kit, or hasn't purchased it that week - Then it doesn't get accepted. There was never a guarantee of an invite - Hence why the party is free...

Theres are a lot more specific sublties to this method availible, that I cant be assed to type, such as a membership scheme to the studios (To the club) to cover 'wear and tear on the fixtures and fittings during attending a casting' etc etc...

But thats the basic method in the simplest terms...

Feel free to all rip me apart, and tell me how this couldnt possibly work by all means. But... Before you do, let me point out that 1) There is NEVER payment for a party, at any time. 2) There is never a 'Swing Club' involved... Its always a 'Private, invite only, free casting'... and 3) This worked perfectly fine in Los Angeles for over 5 years - and it never stopped working. The club closed for different reasons.

That happens a lot. Or at least it happened a lot at the club I was involved with...
Bottom line, is that it doesn't really matter... As long as the hooker is 'playing' and not jut sat at the ba, while the guy runs off with reckless abandon, who cares?

Its a numbers game anyway. When you have 500+ couples on a Saturday night, you cant vet em all...

And if the girl IS sat at the bar - Alone - (Which did happen on occasion) she is taken by a member of staff to locate the guy, and he is asked to leave.

If theres a guy who does go off on his own, then as a 'single guy' in the play area (Without an obvious woman with him) it wont take long for some other member to make the staff aware of him

la couples had the studio thing going but ran into problems, hokey as freedom acres is in ca, they know the law and run it right per the law, look up nasca, lots of resources there

Thats right. It was LAC. Thing is, that before I was involved, it was set up as described and adhered to. It worked fine. During the 2 years I was there, I adhered to it... and it was fine.

It was after I had gone, when people started ding silly things, that it got closed down.
