It reminded me more like Gladiator the way it was shot. Braveheart is more comparable though if you are talking battle scenes. Either way it was a GREAT movie in my mind. You can also catch the true stories about 300 on the History channel. It was pretty interesting. I watched it the night before I went to the movie. Made alot more sense to me after seeing the special.Comment

Im waiting for the Spartans to start complaining about how "innacurate" it is, the way these "Mayan" successors are complaining about Mel Gibson Apacolypto is not accurate.
Although Im probably the only one, I laugh when these people scream "racist" because of a movie's innacuracy.
