Answ machines are so nice. You call theirs. They call yours. You call theirs and you get together. Much more convenient.
Who wants to talk? Unless you are female. Females have always talked and it is just fine for them to talk all day.  Or teen boys in first love. They can talk. The rest of us dont need to be talking all the time.
And I am sure anyone under 25-30 (my guess) will disagree. Which is cool. |
I'm not into yakking on the phone either. No answering machine, and I won't use voicemail or texting. The only phone calls I ever take part in are those that I must make to accomplish something..... like a vet appt, or a tow truck or whatever.... but never just to shoot the bull. People I know can send me email with their rambling thoughts, then I can decide if they're worth reading.
