Odds are the big O is in one of 2 places: tribal Pakistan or tribal Afghanistan.

As long as we have "some" control over them thats fine. We have used this same strategy before in other parts of the world and it has worked, even the greatest failure of this policy(Vietnam) eventually worked to our favor to help speed up the fall of communist regimes.

Pakistan claims they're helping, and they are, but they could do more like everyone. Though they also have their own internal political framework to consider. OBL is one guy. He dies, someone will replace him. What's more important, in my opinion, is breaking up the framework. And thats happening where possible.

Hell even the Iraqi Sunnis are getting pissed off. Al qaeda in Iraq is fighting with tribal Iraqi Sunnis. Now thats pretty crazy.
