CCBill/NatNet ULTIMATE FINAL FOUR Contest Results After Sweet16!!!

OK, remember that predictions must be in by NOON Eastern Daylight Savings Time today (about 10.5 hours from this post). At that time the contest will close and we will know by late tonight who is going to ATLANTA!!!!!

So far, at the conclusion of the 8 games of the Sweet16, there have been a total of 1075 points scored (or an average of 134.375 points per game). If the remaining games keep the exact same average then there would be 1612.5 points scored...since you cant score a half point in a real game we will just round that up for this exercise to 1613......

AND THE LEADERS SO FAR ARE:

    With 1613.....S.A.K. (an exact guess)
With 1612.....latincashpauline (her 2nd time appearing as a leader)
    With 1611.....[illnet]-Romeo
With 1611.....uncjordan (also the second time appearing as a leader)

Notice that two people have been among the leaders so far....maybe they know something we all do not.

Can't wait to see how this plays out......

      Hey Sweet T,

I added up all the points, and I came up with 1065, so you might want to try to estimate the winners again one more time... I think it's 1065 total for an average of 133 points a game... I hope I can win....

Sorry, Gary....Might want to double check your math (or your source for the points) because based on my calculations one of them are incorrect.....

Hey SweetT can you clarify something about the four winning selections.

I read the contest rules and did not find anything about different people guessing the same number. If a number was chosen then does that mean that if someone else chooses that same number that it will not count?

If this is the case then the winners would be the first ones to guess 1613-1612-1611-1610

Or does that mean that since three people guessed 1611 that the first two will be the winners if in fact 1613 was the winning number?

          Thanks for the clarification

I get the impression that if the total number is 1611 and three people picked 1611 and 1 picked 1610 those would be the winners.

I would round it to 1511 for purely selfish reasons.

Yea that's what it looks like if the total was 1611.

I think I made the wrong assumption that it was one guess per number and that any duplicate guessing would not count.

Oh well my final guess was 1615 which means "IF" the final score is...
                1618-No guess
                1817-Two guesses
                1616-One guess
                or 1615-One guess...
then I win one of the prizes.

                I think I understand
