    Another great business advice :

    Everytime you spend a buck, you are actually spending 10 bucks. With the money you make reinvesting it over the years, when you'll be retiring, you'll have way more. So stop spending and start re-investing.

                            here's my 2 cents:

                            1. do what you know
                            2. leverage your strengths
                            3. think outside the box

                            practical applications from personal experience:

                            1. trying to grow a gay tgp (bad idea)
                            2. hire monkeys; your best resource is your brain and the best use of your time is using your best resource
                            3. copying someone else will allow you to duplicate their success to a point, but you will never be greater than what you copied

                                            because if you are working with a certain solo model site, or a single tight niche site, you can only produce so much content in a given amount of time that is very tightly niched---so you reach a point of diminishing returns if you try to do continuous saturation marketing...because for erotica, even though the product has great repeat sale potential, the consumer must constantly see NEW stuff to want to buy---in other words, once he's seen it, and presumably rubbed one out to it, it is more difficult to rub one out with the same content the second time.

                                            so to scale out you must not over saturate your content, because on planet earth the surfers group for specific niches is not growing exponentially at this time.

                                            diversify the content, then scale out the marketing.

                                                                                                Not straight but the lessons we have used are the same. We have been very very picky over the years about who's sites and products we promote from our free sites.

                                                                                                Generally we operate on instict, that a particular site, it's name, content, over all image, etc are good. Then we promote. If it grows we divert attention away from those that dont and really promote. If it grows more we promote to the point that it looks like the site might even be our own. This method has worked for us to build a free site from scratch 3 years ago and make it make significantly more than 300 a day, and only one person works on that site.

                                                                                                Joe D is flattering to me but is also correct about the shows. Get to know some of those people he refers to who represent great products and know people who know people.

Pick 1 thing and master it. Whether it be submitting, running a tgp, building SE traffic or whatever it is. Once you have mastered it and are comfortable with it pick a 2nd thing and master it.

                                                                                                                        Starting out if you try to do 50 things you will do ok at a few and more than likely fail at the rest as you will only have a basic knowledge of 50 things. Being great at a few things is 100 times better than be ok at a lot of things and will make you more money.

                                                                                                                        Most importantly - If you LOVE what you do you will be SUCCESSFUL at it! So don't spend time on something you don't like to do.

                                                                                                                                niched - is not a problem if you can be #1-#3 in your niche you will get good part of the cake

                                                                                                                                and dont think about just $300 this about how you can grow, its just a game
                                                                                                                                and we should know the rules.

                                                                                                                                            Then I did SEO...

                                                                                                                                            Then I started looking into how people actually get traffic in large amounts and I learned how to incorporate some of their techniques into my own game plan and refine them...

                                                                                                                                            But basically I reinvented myself multiple times...
