Maybe now some of you guys who are always up on Google's nutsack will realize what I did a long time ago - they are bad and should not be patronized in any way. Believe me, there is life without Google.

          Good idea me!

Writing to all elected officials directly, is also recommended.

I have read this a few times and I just don't see a positive side of having the FCC getting regulatory powers over Internet until I see a bill that address some of the fears people have about the FCC expanding their role on the Internet thru this. Or how it will govern WIFI hot spots.
Lately bills going thru the government have been full of holes that allow some greivis behavior of the government. Not that it's something new, but was a promise that wouldn't happen

Barry pushing a healthcare bill he didn't read for an example
Barry getting a bank reform bill passed that excluded Fannie and Freddie
Two members of the senate up on ethics charges, both democrats

It's things like this that have pushed the opinion of the senate to record low numbers and Barry's poll numbers to the low 40's from almost 70 ,18 months ago
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                think about that

And get a auto responce set up from a staffer, yeah right, like the government gives a shit about the voters anymore. By emailing your support for anything, you hope to show them your view and hope they will go by your view in their votes
Barry has showed the American people that YOU don't have a voice, polls showed no one wanted that health care bill to go thru, they showed again by electing Brown to replace Kennedy, but the government, AKA Barry didn't give a shit and changed the rules to get it passed

Without hopes and dreams, man has nothing.

If you truly believe the government will never change, and will never work in your favor, then why bother interjecting your views in every political post on this board?

Wouldn't your time be better spent gardening, or working on something that you care about while the world crashes down around you?

Sorry we are all too busy defending same sex marriages and supporting illegal immigration to worry about true freedom of information. The internet is a SMALL deal in comparison to those huge all important world shaking issues.

I never said the world will never change, I post my views as a matter of conscience because as people learn that there is another side to their views, people as a whole become better people

Veggie garden this year, already harvested, stir fry tonight

I just finished the first website of the new company, waiting on just a couple things.

If I keep giving my views, maybe in small way it will improve the chances of the world to survive

Yes, and that piece was written by one of the two Republican "big biz" shills that sit on the FCC board. I love how they always say "what is broken that need fixing?". Well, not much right now. But as soon as they start implementing a tiered traffic scheme, everything becomes broken and that d-bag knows it. The big ISPs have that shit ready to roll out and are just waiting for their chance. And once they get it implemented, it will never go away. That will be it - done and done. Let's face it - while government regulation can suck, a lack of it usually sucks worse (see the recent Wall Street meltdown as an example of no regulation).

Ok, so I looked it up, Meredith Attwell Baker and Robert M. McDowell were both appointed by Obama and they both are against Net Neutrality, so calling them Republican doesn't hold much weight. I read their background and they are both qualified it seems to be at the post.
So far I'm just hearing what if and we better regulate this before it's too late. This seems to be an attempt to fix something before it's broke, I'm against that.

And the bank meltdown was handled so well by the present administration, we got bank regulations that exempt the two biggest liabilities, Freddie And Fannie
