    Have you ever joined a paysite?

    Here's an interesting question for the webmasters

    Have you ever personally joined a paysite, just because you liked the tour and wanted the stuff in the members area?

    I've joined a paysite before (cumfiesta.com) simply because I like movies ;)

      Um... no. There is only 1 paysite I would consider joining, but it is a very very very niche paysite. I have lots of paysite memberships from my sponsors, and don't use them. I wouldn't pay for an average paysite, and neither would anyone that has been working in the biz for years.

          a lot of people join to check out the design of the members area and how well kept the content is to see if they went to use that program so "zoink" you must not be talking about the adult biz ;)

              Not if they could just ask someone and get in for free, no.

              But most of us got into this business because we originally were surfing for porn, am I correct? Just because I make porn sites and I make money from them, it doesn't mean I don't like porn anymore ;) Cumfiesta.com just looked like it had some good exclusive stuff, so I decided to sign up for a trial.

              Yeah, thats why I said just because you wanted the stuff in the members area. I'm not talking about joining so you can see what they have as a webmaster, I mean joining for the reasons a surfer would.

                          I am not saying I have not been inside paysites. I have been in lots. I just email the webmaster support, and boom, I get either a temp or permanant username and password. It really is nice to know what you are promoting so you can sell it 10x better.

                              About 4 years ago, I joined a teen site. I was a member for about 2 or 3 weeks and then I canceled my membership, but they just kept billing my credit card every month. Eventually, I had to call Visa and ask them to stop allowing this company to bill my card. So, because of that, I've never joined a pay-site again.

                              There are pay-sites that I do like though, and I would like to join them.

                                  This guy (he calls himself 'Igor') has invented a completely new kind of adult biz ... imho.

                                      If you're not getting paid per join, I'd highly suggest you actually do join the sites you are promoting. It never hurts to see the process the surfer actually goes thru in order to get inside, and can certainly help you market the whole process, as well as the site itself.

                                      If you're getting paid per join, you'll get booted from the program if you get caught joining on your own link, though I think with most of them you can go in thru the front door and join with no ref code and it's fine.

                                          I wouldn't doubt that I could probably get free sample access to any paysite. However, we're all in business and there's nothing wrong with sneaking in under the radar or patronizing a site as an expense. Mostly, though, time is of the essence and it's just easier to join and check it out for myself versus sending off an email. I joined a Cybererotica site once to see what the members area was like.

                                          The only site I ever joined for more then just potentially research was BangBus after it just launched. I really wanted to see what they were up to. BUT, I enjoyed the content so much I changed my purpose after about 10 minutes inside the members area

                                                  (1) to check out sites that we've been tipped off about - using our content in their members area.
                                                  (2) to monitor what the competition is doing.

                                                      I like to see what other sites are doing, so I'll join a site for a month or so. I don't think 3 days is enough to really get a feel for a site. This month, I'm trying out http://www.davecummings.com, and while the content is pretty good overall (especially for an old geezer like me), I'm finding that it's not updated very frequently.
                                                      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                                                          Most paysites don't deliver what they promise on tour pages. I was only pleased with Maxcash's sites :-/
                                                          This company called fetishcash is still rebilling my CC after I cancelled their membership, what a shame.

                                                                  is doing, etc..... Can't stick you head up your ass in this biz...

A guy my bro knew just wanted help building a site.. turns out it was porn.. 50/50 split on any earnings.. But the site was lame.. he just stole content and i thought to msyelf.. fuck this.. i could be making a crapload more money with a legit site.

                                                                                                  Yeah, of course. Not what I meant.. of course we all get into webmastering for the purpose of at least attempting to make a few bucks But I mean the initial interest was probably sparked by a webmaster just surfing porn sites himself at one point or another..

                                                                                                                              You can't find long, high quality movies for free.. at least not on the web. There's some on kazaa and morpheus and shit, but they're all the same, people name them with good keywords, they get downloaded 1000x and then served again by those people.. plus its slow as hell.

                                                                                                                              By long I'm talking 15 or 20 mins or more.. and high enough quality that it almost looks like TV even with it full screen. Thats why I joined that one site ;)

                                                                                                                                              Best way to check out the sites that are actually decent on the internet, is to get some hacked passwords... people dont hack the shitty sites... and this will also save you getting billed on your credit card.. all the sites you mentioned, i have see numerous times on password lists, good way to check out the members area for free
