I've been really lucky lately, I've had about 7 email viruses sent to me in the past few days, but I didn't open them, just deleted.

Hell, you guys are lucky, I've been getting roughly 70-90 viruses per day. I don't have much of a problem with spam, just viruses.Comment

A tip: try not to post your actual email address anywhere on the web. Either post it like mike at domain.com or get one of those anti-virus email scripts so they can still click a link.. all those worms that send those virus emails out look for the "mailto:" field in html docs I think.Get your guaranteed gallery listings on bunnyteens.com! Aparently about 100-200 viruses are attempted to hit me every day. I don't see them though, since most of my email goes through 2 virus scanners before I get it. Most are from surfers, and the virus sees the mailto: and decides, hey, lets try and hit ya. It is rather amusing.

If im not getting at least 30 to 40 virus a day then I will feel unloved..
this last one though got my ass I allways have my outlook setting secure WELL I THOUGHT I DID I dont allow nothing to be open automatic well this one virus found away around it and I got 15 emails from myself HELL I even got a email i sent my ex wife a year ago hehe

Most of the email viruses/worms are coming from addresses in South-East Asia. I wonder if there is a way to block email from that region of the world. Nothing ever good has come from that region.

20-25 virus emails the last 3 or 4 hours (I left the computer on, when I came back I saw all these virus). One of them had 1.9MB, the others around 120KB .

I think the amount of virus mails depends on how much traffic you have since most of those virusses check the internet history and cookies and stuff on the infected harddrive to send itself to.
The more people have your site on their infected hd the more mails you can expect.Comment
