i was wondering if i was going to get pissed with this.. then i see them put the cat in the box.. and see the words "spa" and think "this cat is going to be PISSED"

Cats do NOT need to be bathed. Cat's tongues have thousands of spines that act like a brush, all over their tongues. This is why they always have soft clean fur. Sure, they're not as clean as when you just had a shower. But they're not naturally supposed to bath in water. Anyone who thinks you should put a cat in that god awful contraption, is a fucking sadist and I'm sorry, but it's animal cruelty.
