Hey there, we did add target_blanks to several of the links internally, but with an average user visiting 20-30 page views per visit (several visits per day), it would be ridiculous to pop 20-30 new windows each visit.
Let me know where you see them being an advantage and more efficient and we can do it.

the only thing that sets linkspun apart from thunderball is that there are fewer people looking for trades to crappy german sites.

Unfortunately I think this is the nature of the beast, being a new tool/system. It's pretty evident to me while looking through accounts that most people add their lesser sites or networks first to try the site/tool out, then proceed eventually to add their higher quality sites. Often they get added as hidden afterwards and only trade with friends.
I expect to get pelted with high pr, aged site to crappy splog requests. I sort through, and in short time you can identify them and just block the users who are trying to 'pull a fast one' and get a big links for a small link.
In 2-3 PR updates, on in 2-3 months, the tables may switch on many of those sites, so I dont block them, I just ignore the requests until I see some movement on their networks.

Actually I've been watching our daily users and I think we are officially 'busier' and more active then any of the other sites/tools available.
When we launch our new features in the next week or two the userbase should substantially climb as we are bringing in a whole other field of webmasters. (gay webmasters).
