Tried Awiz in the past, but wouldnt actually recommend it.

Custom written is always the best solution simply because you can get all the specs and everything you want.

Off the shelf I have to say MAS is the best I have seen.

awiz v5 is REALLY nice but horribly laid out, you will spend a good 2 weeks figuring it out and setting it up

If you're looking for something high end I suggest a demo of http://www.elevatedx.com. It's by far the best system out there but it's not for everyone: There's no payment plan, no lease option and there is a waiting list.

Hell i even like MAS all of them are functional but nothing is as good as custom.

give Site Depth a try...i have done a TON of sites with clients using it and it has come along way from it's first versions...i beleive they give a 10 day free trial now too so you can see what it can really do for you.

Although I love and use sitedepth. But even with the small amount of content I have it's pretty rough on the server. I only have a few thousand videos and under half a mil of pics..and I'm relatively sure Dave has a lot more content. If I had his resources (or the resources I think he has), I'd get a custom one built. Eventually all CMS's need customization etc, it's better to have the coder around, atleast a phonecall away 24/7/365 rather than 18/7/350 ;)

Thanks, I was actually in the middle of it then just wanted to ask to see if there is something better around. But you guys all made a very good point.
