    Two Girls Doin' It

    I hope this doesn't seem too terribly spammy, but I need a little help out of a jam that has a goodly hunk of change tied up.

    Here's the story: This model needed some quick money because she's moving and has to make first and last and some school-related expenses (she's doing summer school out of town). So, I agree to help her by doing a 2-girl shoot with her and another hottie.

    I did agree to a stipulation, however. Once I take the photos, I must either 1) hang onto them until she goes to school in Europe in the Fall if I want to sell them nonexclusive, or 2) I can sell them on an exclusive basis for use as content in just one surfer site, not to another content seller.

    For me, 2) works better than 1). So, follow the links below to a few samples. There are just a bit under 600 photos. Any offer that doesn't make me laugh out loud will be considered. (I'll laugh out loud at any offer under $2.50 a photo.) I'll make up my mind by Friday.

    You get the 1600x1200 straight out of the camera originals plus resized (880x660), rotated, Photoshopped (zit removal), and color-corrected "fixed" shots as well. Plus, you get a good copy of the release and age docs, too.

    Oh, yeah. There are 16 wardrobe changes distributed over about 4 different locations. Some of the shots involve toys (one of the girls goes anal, both do vaginal), and there is actual mouth-pussy contact, none of the tongue hovering an inch away BS.

    This is my best-quality A++ work, and if I didn't have to hang onto them or sell them as exclusive, you can bet they'd be up on my content site any day now selling like hotcakes as nonexclusive material.                   nice, but thats a fucking LOT for amateur/next door girl stuff.

                  600 at 2.50 minimum... which brings it to $1500 for a set of pics at a minimum. i guess you're expecting more like $2000 for the whole set. sure does seem like a+++ work, but is it worth that much? i mean... i wonder what the competition would shoot for $2000?

                          You're talking about "amateur/next door girl" stuff like that means it's less valuable than "Playboy centerfold girl" material. To someone who runs a site devoted to amateurs, barely legals, or whatever, this kind of stuff is gold, and their members/visitors would turn up their noses at the slicker stuff. You (and I do this as well sometimes) seem to forget that the value isn't *what it is*, it's how good it sells, and any of my regular customers will tell you that very few other producers are in my league as far as getting and retaining members. THAT is what really counts, isn't it? And THAT is where value comes from.

                          You can't get this kind of material from me for $2.50/pic anymore. And Aaron tells me (if he isn't pulling my leg) that his work is more expensive than that as well...and worth it!

                          $2.50 a pic (and more) for really good exclusive work that's just right for a certain market is not asking too much, believe me.

                                          haha... i knew that you would point that out. you've pointed it out a few times on this board and most every webmaster with a reasonable experience of this biz also knows that the amateur/next door girl has an appeal that can't be easily found, it retains just the same as foot fetish, lactating, mature ebony, or any kind of specialist material would.

                                          well, for someone who wants real amateur stuff, wouldn't it be advisable to go out and hire some dope that got his new digital camera? i sure wouldn't... with that said, i don't think your stuff is ever so amateur/next door girl, but more of an amateur with a professional twist, therein lies the appeal.

You are a good photographer but for Christ's sake, hire somebody who knows what in the hell they are talking about and have them post to the boards for you.

The "value" of something is determined by demand and utility, not how much something cost to make. It's very easy to spend a billion dollars and make something that no one wants.
