Erm, think you need to touch up on your adult webmaster lingo.

Topbucks = A sponsor with paysites and an affiliate program.

Its not even remotely close to an avs, and even with an avs you rarely get the chance to set a price, and its not even worth it to pay processing fee's on 2.99 a month. =)

An average AVS makes at least one saggy cloth cat a month in profit.

It makes a lot, if made properly, BUT as all other things in this biz you'll know more if you try it yourself. There are 2 ways of doing AVS sites:
1. for selling memberships
2. for upselling to sponsors from inside your sites.

They can be used for one or the other or for both.

That's what you gotta try out yourself. Some say this AVS is the best some say the other, I say try them all and you'll see what works for you.

You can make a lot of money either upselling sponsors or your own avs site. I can't give you exact $$$ figures because that is entirely up to you.

If you upsell to a sponsor you can see conversion ratios as low as 1:11 and click through ratios to your sponsor of up to 40%. Each site can see between 1 and 30 clicks a day from the avs's link list traffic.

If you upsell to your own avs you can also make really good money. It seems the retention ratio for avs's is a little longer than for a paysite so you can make good money on a decent site.

Remember, if you want great ratios you have to pay attention to your salesmanship and design. As with any other method a bad design with plain banner ads won't make you anything. You can also go the AVS blitz and just crank out tons of sites. Quality or quantity, both work in their own way.
